I was originally looking for the D6000, but I wait too long and it went end of life. I checked out the specs on the e series and they were the same as the d series. I purchased the TV from VANNS who had no sales tax and no shipping cost. So a great deal right off the top. The TV showed up and took be about 30 minutes to unbox and setup. The instructions were very straight forward and intuitive. I had to do some tweaking with the color settings but that did not take long.

The color on the set is absolutely amazing, I cannot believe how vibrant the colors are on the screen. It feels like the people are standing in the room with you. I love this TV, Samsung did a wonderful job on this set. I would buy this set again in a minute. One thing to take into account is that I was not looking for a TV with 3D, WIFI or apps so this was a great fit for me. If you are looking for a great TV for a good price and provides a true entertainment explosion for your eyes, this is the TV for you.

Since there are many great reviews, I will talk about size. We have both the 47 inch and 55 inch. The 47 was delivered first and used in our living room while waiting on the 55 inch. When the 55 arrived we were all amazed at how much bigger it looked. Also some movies still have black bars on the top and bottom, which makes the tv screen smaller. I would recommend the 47 for a bedroom and the 55 for a living room. We also have a Samsung and the picture on the LG is much better. You will love this TV!

I honestly did not even know something like this existed before, and I couldn’t be happier that I found it. I travel frequently, so I was hoping I could use this to play Netflix or iTunes movies on my hotel room wall, and it far exceeded my expectations. Keep in mind no adaptors needed for this projector for your iPhone4 or 4S, it slides into the cradle perfectly, so you don’t need to buy one. I have owned this fantastic projector since last 21 days & have watched several 3D movies. The projector is phenomenal there is no ghosting or crosstalk of any kind. My screen size is 120 inches. Once you watch a movie in 3D you will not like to watch the same movie in 2D version. This is my 6th projector the last one was Panasonic 3000 which was also very good. I have been using the 2nd gen glasses which are very very good. There is a slight drop in brightness but on the whole its tooo good. I’ve watched Resident Evil Afterlife which had amazing effects & depth,Ice age,Saw,Thor,Captain America,Final Destination(Excellent 3D effects)Toy Story 3, Smurfs,My bloody valentine, Mars Need Moms, & the latest one Ultimate Wave Tahiti (a must own 3D bluray for all 3D display owners). I have taken demos of JVC & SONY 3D projectors they were good but too huge in size. I wholeheartedly recommend this projector to anyone who is thinking to buy one.

After Purchasing and getting home eager to set up i took down my old projector (SharpVision xv-z9000u was 11k new in 2001) which i have been very pleased, hooked up the new casio and BAM the whole room was lit up with very rich and vibrant color, and then after some calibration and moving the fan down to eco mode two i popped on some 1080p videos on my playstation, they were amazing, moved to some online gaming and same experience, so far a very awesome 10 hours! Currently is projected on the wall, cannot wait to see full potential on a the Projector Screen (120″ is current size plan to do with the screen as well) Will follow in next month,

After 6+ Months of use and over 500 Hours i am still loving this projector. it is ceiling mounted with a 120″ screen and it looks wonderful! it is extremely bright and used as an everyday television, i usually keep on eco 2 or 1 depending on room brightness. i do use this as a home theater projector, only real downfall is fan noise because is made for a business projector but man am i happy that i chose this one, extremely reliable, and small! i would buy this again if i need!

I’ll try to do a more detailed review soon, and maybe a video review if I get enough time. Overall I am pleased with the projector, but I still have some other tests I want to do before rendering a final verdict. If you go into this purchase expecting to get high definition, movie theater quality images…you will be disappointed. If you go into this realizing you are trading off movie theater quality picture and a huge projector in exchange for ease of portability while still maintaining a good picture, you will likely be happy.

And now a more niche consideration. I am an illustrator by trade and use a Wacom tablet and photoshop in my day to day work. I purchased this tv with the intention of utilizing it as a third, large scale monitor for certain projects. A big reason I went for this particular tv is the LED screen. I find it is much easier on my eyes when I am painting on screen for hours on end.

So there you have it. Beautiful image quality, a decent service lineup (Netflix, Prime, etc.), customization, great aesthetics, light weight, and it won’t make your eyes bleed when you are painting an event poster at 2 in the morning.
